Moths can sometimes be a nuisance when they show up in the home. There is an easy solution though! You can make sachets with natural repellents to stash in drawers, trunks or hang in closets. You will need cotton fabrics, plain cheesecloth, linen or clean nylons (like knee highs or cut pantyhose).

Certain ingredients act as natural moth repellents including dried lavender, cloves, rosemary, mint, thyme, cinnamon sticks, eucalyptus, peppercorns, and cedar. All you need to do is fill the fabric pouch, cheesecloth, linen, or nylons with you repellent of choice. You will leave it where ever you would use a moth ball.

You could also spread dried orange and lemon peels in between clothing and linens while you’re packing them away to prevent moths as well.
